Frequently Asked Questions

What industries does TRELMA do consulting work with?

We primarily partner with renewable, energy and infrastructure companies, with a focus on wind energy and underground or sub-sea cabling for energy grids.

How does TRELMA engage on consulting assignments: short-term advisory or long-term project support?

Trelma can support both defined, short-duration technical reviews (i.e. risk assessments, tender evaluations, interface audits) and longer-term advisory roles aligned with project phases such as FEED, procurement, or delivery oversight. Engagement structure is agreed case-by-case to ensure clarity of scope, defined deliverables, and alignment with project governance requirements.

Are training courses open to individuals or company groups only?

Both. We provide standardised or tailored training through our training partner Jee (UK) including topics such as subsea power cables, offshore wind cabling or HVDC connections.

Training can be in-house delivery or remotely.

What regions do you serve?

TRELMA is based in Germany but supports businesses across Europe, having delivered services with partners across Europe, Asia and Middle East. Our approach and services are adaptable to local industry and international standards.
For our talent access services we work with a partner company based in East Africa.

What differentiates us from general recruiters?

We focus on addressing workforce gaps for our industry by entering into long term talent access partnerships with clients. This ensures we understand, and build, client requirements into our talent screening and selection processes in the regions we source talent from.

Are we GDPR compliant and apply ethical recruitment principles?

Yes. Candidate welfare and data protection is handled under GDPR-aligned requirements.
We do not participate in misrepresentation, falsification, undocumented processes, or any pathway designed to bypass legal requirements.
